Our Challenge

To build a healthier, wellness-focused workforce, a professional services firm wanted to launch a health incentive program to its 20,000+ employees. The goal was to:

  • Build understanding of how the program worked and its value to employees and their families.
  • Generate program support across offices.
  • Encourage employees and spouses/domestic partners to qualify for program incentives by completing a biometric screening.

Our Plan

To advance the client’s goals, we created:

  • CEO and HR messages to emphasize employee health and well-being.
  • A variety of educational resources, including manager and HR talking points and presentations, wellness emails, posters, program Fact Sheets and FAQs.
  • Outreach to employees’ families, including postcards, self-mailers and program-at-a-glance flyers.

Our Results

Our communications campaign met with great success, with offices across the country embracing the new program’s wellness resources.

  • Client sites hosted more than 80 screening events across 50 locations.
  • Among benefits-eligible employees and spouses/domestic partners, 75% of participants obtained biometric screenings that year:
  • – 65% completed screenings at company onsite locations.
  • – 10% completed screenings at their doctor’s office.

The client was delighted with the program’s Year 1 results and made plans to invest further in the program the following year.
